After several weeks of rain and the occasional thunderstorm throughout the valley, early July has been like flicking a switch, as we can finally enjoy traditional summer month temps for the time of year.
We took a drive through Lake Country (Winfield & Okanagan Centre) yesterday and could not resist stopping at a couple of beach access points along the way ... dipping our toes in the water for much needed relief from 35c readings in the early afternoon sun.
This weather is now expected to continue for several days to come, so beach and water related activities will be in full swing from here on in.
